Speeding up the transition to e-mobility in India
The 5th largest automotive market - India, is leapfrogging its e-mobility dream to fulfill its Net Zero emissions ambition. We aim to “Super Charge” this dream, opening up an opportunity worth ~19B$/year1
Bringing back convenience to EV charging
While e-mobility ecosystem can’t replicate traditional car’s ~7 min re-fueling experience, we made ZERO minute recharging possible by introducing doorstep charging & by mapping idle time at parking lot.
We are convenient
Convenience is key to adoption and our innovation centers around that, while our technology solves complex grid & infrastructure problems
We are reliable
Reliability creates convenience & we enable that by 24x7, On-demand On-site / Scheduled charging of EVs
We are sustainable
Sustainability is lasting & therefore we aim to reduce CO2 and NOx emissions for every KM driven by masses

Innovation made for megacities around the world
Switching to electric not only brings many financial, technological, and environmental benefits, But also brings inconvenience due to lack of public charging infrastructure and long charging hours. This is the biggest bottleneck to adoption and we eliminate that to simplify EV charging.
Full of hassle private home / office charging in cities
Highly packed cities can’t provide for dedicated private home / office charging.
Long queue at a ultra fast charging station
Fixed public charging infrastructure is always congested in cities, so long queues are inevitable.
Our technical approach
Our decentralised energy storage & distribution technology solves the typical “Land + Load”, “Peak”, and “Congestion” challenges associated with electric mobility.
Our system identifies load demand centers dynamically and matches load supply in geographical area with modular, mobile power banks capable of delivering a fast charge. We learn from the time based load curves of a city and flatten the peak using environment friendly Cobalt and Nickel free battery systems.
*US Utility Patent application 17/022,703, Indian utility patent application 202014040507.
Imagine the extent of the problem with fixed charging - i.e. 100% electrification of all cars on the road 2

The Technology offers bi-directional energy transfer system that brokers charging demand and electricity supply from grid for multiplicity of EVs.
Why Now?
We are at inflection point of energy transition led by
electrification of road transport.

Where do we start first? 3
Densely populated megacities around the world struggle to get land (parking) and electric load to enable e-mobility. While tighter emission norms are compelling force, net oil deficit countries will embrace electrification faster. Therefore we chose to be enabler in India starting with 9 cities identified.
Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Surat, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad

Value creation in ecosystem
EV users and their charging experience maybe the key part of this ecosystem but other players are equally rewarded with this new opportunity.
OEMs/Oil Retailers
Oil Retailers
  • Alternate to perpetually declining fuel pump revenues.
OEMs
  • Increase EV market share by unique charging offerings
  • New value added service market. i.e. ~ 50% after sales O&M and services market
  • Unique “Battery+Energy+Maintenance” program
  • Unique battery reuse / repurpose program
Utilities
  • Last mile delivery of electricity without grid upgrade
  • Peak shaving and demand management by hopcharge battery cloud
  • Hopcharge battery cloud recharge with 100% RE through open access
Estate Owners
  • Increase footfall and occupancy by enabling high utilization and cheaper EV charging. Malls, Offices, and Eat Outs etc
  • Fulfill aggressive govt. regulations with hopcharge. e.g. making parking ~20% EV ready etc.
Contract Manufacturers (CMs)
  • New revenue streams in sunrise industry. ~10-20% margin on labour and materials

A future beyond just charging
Intelligent next generation charging
User never worries about charging again, our proprietary charging system will intelligently call for a charge when it deems it to be too low.
Re-cycle & re-purpose with battery buyback
Hopcharge subscribers can subsidise the cost of their next EV with our Members only battery buyback program. An industry first green initiative.
Adaptive charging
Learning from charging habits, the system plans charging for user, ensuring EV lifespan improvement
A future beyond just charging
Our journey so far
Our journey started in the latter half of 2019 but we have come a long way since then. And we have no plans on slowing things down.
